
Daniela Ibarra Howell
Daniela is the Co-founder and CEO of the Savory Institute, where she leads the global strategy to address biodiversity loss and climate change through holistic grassland management. She chairs the Europe-based Savory Foundation, focusing on innovative investment models for large-scale projects, and Savory’s Land to Market, the first outcomes-based verified regenerative sourcing solution. With degrees in Agronomy, natural resource economics, conflict resolution, and systems innovation, and over 30 years of experience in regenerative land management worldwide, Daniela is a leader in market-driven strategies to restore grasslands.
She serves on boards and advisory roles with organizations like the 4 per 1000 Initiative, the Club of Rome, and the Global Evergreening Alliance, among others. In 2018, she received the “Top Conscious Business Leaders Award” from Conscious Company. Daniela is also a proud mother to two daughters, Savanna and Mia.
